ToolKid Sawguide with pair of clamps
Sawing straight and safely with the ToolKid saw guide!
- Super safe tool
- Sawing straight at all times
- For right and left-handed children
Description
The saw guide prevents you from sawing at and hurting your fingers and it helps you to saw in a straight line. The saw guide consists of a holder with a handle and fixing points for the clamps, the saw clamp with scale indication, and a screw knob for the saw clamp. You use the accompanying clamps to mount the saw guide firmly onto the worktop or table.
By inserting the saw blade into the saw guide and making the sawing motion, the saw is guided (straight) through the wood. You can adjust the saw clamp with the yellow screw knob: for left-handed children, the clamp can be fixed on the other side or you can adjust the angle to saw diagonally.
ToolKid handsaw Type 1 (small hands / 5-9 yrs)
Hand saw with pistol-grip handle and Teflon blade for young children
- Perfect for small hands
- Moves smoothly through the wood
- Handle prevents ‘chopping’
Description
The hand saw Type 1 has a handle that fits smaller hands, based on the average size of children’s hands in the ages ranging between 5 and 9. Young children generally tend to use a lot of strength. The pistol-grip handle, whereby the index finger goes through the top hole, stimulates the correct sawing motion and relieves the tension from the hand and, in this way, prevents ‘chopping’ at the wood. The blade is attuned to the forearm and has fine, two-sided sharpened teeth, making the blade go smoothly through the wood. The blade is also slightly thicker to make sure that it doesn’t bend too quickly when the child unintentionally pushes too hard. The Teflon coating offers additional protection so that the saw can also be used outdoor.
ToolKid handsaw Type 2 (9+)
Hand saw with pistol-grip handle and Teflon blade for larger children’s hands
- Perfect for children’s hands
- Moves smoothly through the wood
